POSITION DESCRIPTION:

As this industry-leader’s newest Millwright, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining, repairing, and optimizing machinery and mechanical systems to ensure maximum operational efficiency. Working within a dynamic and safety-focused environment, your experience and expertise will contribute to seamless production and support the company’s commitment to excellence.

  • Diagnoses and troubleshoots mechanical equipment issues to minimize downtime.
  • Performs preventative maintenance on a variety of machinery, including conveyors, pumps, motors, and industrial systems.
  • Installs, aligns, and dismantles machinery as required for new and existing projects.
  • Ensures compliance with safety and operational standards, adhering to regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Collaborates with engineering, production, and maintenance teams to enhance equipment reliability and performance.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 3 - 5 years of hands-on experience as a Millwright in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
  • Stick or TIG welding experience required.
  • Proven expertise in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
  • Familiarity with hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
  • Experience with computerized maintenance management systems is an asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must have, or must be working towards, your 433A Millwright license.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Ability to operate tools, machinery, and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and overtime, when required.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
