Description

TSG STAFFING SERVICES is currently recruiting for a MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR for an Edmonton area-based opportunity. This is a permanent position with our client.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of maintenance personnel to ensure safe, efficient, and timely maintenance operations.
  • Plan and prioritize maintenance schedules and repair activities in coordination with production needs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues to maintain optimal performance and reduce downtime.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, company policies, and applicable regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and equipment performance.
  • Support capital projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Mentor, coach, and develop maintenance staff to foster a high-performance team.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and operational efficiency.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Millwright certification or post-secondary education in Mechanical Engineering (or a related discipline).
  • 5+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, combustion systems, and industrial equipment.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in the use of maintenance management systems and basic computer applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead by example and maintain a safety-first mindset.
  • Experience working in a unionized environment is an asset.
  • Exceptional time management organization, and multitasking abilities, with a proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
    Pay rates or salaries will be based on experience and current market standards. Only selected candidates will be contacted.
    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
    Pay: $100,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
