Responsibilities
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions focused on mindfulness and self-compassion.
  • Create a safe and supportive environment for participants.
  • Collaborate with therapists to integrate group insights into individual treatment plans.
  • Monitor group dynamics and address any emerging issues effectively.
  • Provide resources and tools to enhance participants’ coping strategies.
  • Conduct intake assessments for new group members as needed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of group sessions in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices.

  • Qualifications
  • Has completed teacher’s training with the Center for Mindful Self Compassion
  • Proven experience in facilitating group therapy or similar settings.
  • Strong understanding of mental health issues and therapeutic techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create an inclusive environment for diverse populations.
  • Familiarity with crisis intervention strategies is preferred.
  • Certification or licensure relevant to psychotherapy or counseling is a plus.
