Job Description:
General Objectives:
Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, the Maintenance Clerk typically works a 4 day 10 hour schedule. The clerk is accountable for general clerical functions associated with Mine Maintenance including filing, data entry, and record keeping.
Key Areas of Responsibilities & Duties:

The key responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Lead by example, in all of Marigold’s safety processes, ensuring safe practices are utilized while performing work.
  • Unwavering commitment to environmental stewardship including immediately reporting and mitigating spills and other environmental impacts.
  • Enter component information into the Maintenance Management System as required
  • Filing Pre-Operational Reports
  • Scanning PM, Pre-PM, Vendor Reports, Component Replacement forms, Electrical PM’s, Fire Pump Inspection Documents, Safety Meeting Logs, and Training documentation and uploading them to the vault.
  • Assist the Maintenance Planners with the development of PM packets weekly
  • Assist with routing and tracking of incident investigation
  • Perform administrative duties at meetings as assigned.
  • Other Administrative duties as needed by the mine maintenance department.

Required Skills:

  • Ability to adapt to changes
  • Excellent organizational and problem solving skills
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and Power Point
  • Ability to prioritize projects, manage time efficiently, handle details and follow several projects simultaneously to completion
  • Ability to communicate both written and verbally with various levels of organizational structure, multiple departments and sites
  • Ability to build trust and develop great working relationships with site personnel.

Required Experience:

  • Experience with Maintenance Software programs is preferred
  • Experience with Mining Maintenance or a related field is preferred
  • Knowledge ADP payroll systems
