THE ROLE

Are you a motivated Production Engineer looking to move beyond day-to-day operations, or a Planning Engineer eager to broaden your expertise in infrastructure projects? Perhaps you’re ready to take the next step in your career by diving into mine scheduling. If so, this opportunity could be perfect for you!
Working closely with the Senior Long-Term Engineer, you will play a key role in planning and delivering infrastructure projects, including ventilation, power, air, and water systems. These projects will support upgrades and the expansion towards Great Cobar. Additionally, you’ll take ownership of the monthly mine plan, integrating critical infrastructure activities into the mine’s schedule while gaining valuable insights into the future direction of the mine and the company.
Your primary objective will be to optimise resources to maintain stable production from existing ore bodies while effectively supporting our expansion strategy. You’ll achieve this by ensuring safe systems, developing innovative designs, and monitoring progress in collaboration with the operations team.
