About the Role One of Australia’s largest mines and a complex minerals processing operation, Olympic Dam, is unique in that we produce Copper, Uranium, Gold and Silver. The local township of Roxby Downs is an active and progressive community offering a variety of modern, well-equipped housing, education, health, sporting, leisure, shopping and cultural facilities. This position is offered on a FIFO/DIDO/Residential 7/7 roster at Olympic Dam. Installation, removal and repair of air, water and dewatering lines. Installation of Paste Reticulation and associated equipment. Installation and removal of transportable pumps. Installation and removal of ventilation controls and vent and backfill barricades About You Proven commitment to look after your own wellbeing and the confidence to speak up when others put themselves in harm’s way. Be focused on working collaboratively within your team to achieve results. Able to follow instructions, relevant processes and procedures within your department. Be a team player who is self-motivated. Willing to learn and contribute to promoting a supportive and positive team culture. Proven ability to solve problems. Minimum experience of 1 year working in Mine Services within an Underground Hard Rock mining environment. Experience in Underground Paste Reticulation Current valid working at heights competency (valid within 5 years of obtaining). A valid Driver’s Licence with the ability to drive a manual vehicle.
