JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled Mini Excavator Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in operating heavy equipment, particularly excavators, and will be responsible for executing various tasks on construction sites. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical operations and the ability to work efficiently in a team environment.

EXPERIENCE

• Proven experience as an Excavator Operator or in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Experience with commercial driving, including operating dump trucks and tankers.
• Familiarity with various types of heavy equipment operation including Caterpillar machinery is preferred.

• Operate excavators and other heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, and skid steers on construction sites.
• Conduct pre-operation inspections to ensure equipment is functioning properly and safely.
• Perform excavation tasks including digging, grading, and trenching as per project specifications.
• Collaborate with site supervisors and other operators to ensure smooth operations and adherence to safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and report any mechanical issues immediately.
• Follow all safety guidelines while operating machinery to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Assist in horizontal drilling and paving operations when required.
