Description

Role Description We are looking for a Mining Operations Engineer to take part in Şişecam Mining Operations located in Mersin. The ideal candidate would have the following qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering Holds or eligible to obtain a ‘Daimi Nezaretçilik' Certificate Minimum 2 years of experience in open-pit mining operations, particularly in feldspar, quartz, and industrial raw materials Resides in or is willing to relocate to Feke region Good command of English Strong communication skills and eager to learn Preferably experienced in using SAP Holds a Class B driver’s license and actively drives Job Description Preparing annual production plans for mining sites and facilities in line with factories’ raw material requirements, and monitoring the production process Managing operational activities within open-pit mining operations and leading on-site teams Conducting planning and project development activities for the operation and improvement of facilities Ensuring that all operations are carried out in compliance with current laws and regulations Following up on permit and extension processes required under mining license regulations Implementing initiatives aimed at reducing costs across quarries and facilities

Responsibilities

The Mining Operations Engineer will prepare annual production plans for mining sites and manage operational activities within open-pit mining operations. They will also ensure compliance with laws and regulations while implementing cost-reduction initiatives.
