Description
Title: Minority Finance Director Reports to: Minority Chief of Staff / Minority Policy Director Summary of Position: Provides fiscal, legislative, policy analysis and counsel to the Minority Caucus in the formulation and implementation of budgetary and legislative strategies and objectives. Coordinates the work of Minority Caucus staff and other personnel to fulfill these responsibilities. Essential functions include: 1. Consults with and advises Minority Leadership and legislators of the Minority Caucus while managing staff on the budget bill and other fiscal and revenue measures 2. Researches, prepares, analyzes, and summarizes bills, amendments and legislative issues for the Minority Caucus 3. Coordinates, supervises, monitors and assigns work to Minority Caucus legislative staff working on budget and other legislative fiscal measures and tasks 4. Works with stakeholders, such as governmental agencies, organizations and advocacy groups to gather and share information relative to legislative matters 5.
