Job Title: Mirai Finance Business Partner Location: 100VE Work-Level: WL2B About Project Mirai We need to simplify the Unilever technology landscape by reducing the number of applications. The separation of Ice Cream will remove a layer complexity within the organisation, whilst segmenting our markets will enable standardisation of Business Processes and eliminate further complexity. Furthermore, the end-of-life imperative to upgrade our ERP solution presents the opportunity for a fundamental technology transformation at Unilever. Mirai is the Business Transformation Programme that will deliver a simplified IT estate across both ERP and our core business critical applications. This is needed to fully deliver the ambition set out under the Productivity Programme. There are three key drivers behind the timing for Mirai: Mirai is a critical enabler for all the changes being delivered by the new Operating Model. New and refreshed technology is required to maximise productivity savings from the redesigned organisation and enable the move to standardised processes. JOB PURPOSE This role is an exceptional opportunity to merge your financial expertise with cutting-edge technology to revolutionize our organisation’s processes and drive future growth. As part of the finance business partnering team for Mirai, you will be responsible for developing financial insights to drive the optimal shape of the ERP implementation programme ensuring we deliver our targeted transformation within the expected cost envelope and deliver the benefits at the same time. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide critical insights, and guide decisions that enhance the programme’s financial performance and impact. WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE Main FBP responsibilities will include • Programme financial oversight: Manage financial aspects of the ERP implementation, in particular benefits, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and cost efficiency. • Benefit management: Validate and track proposed and realised benefits of te Mirai programme • Performance management: Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support ERP project milestones and deliverables. Establish and track KPIs to measure the financial success and efficiency of the ERP rollout • Compliance and Risk Management: Maintain stringent financial controls and compliance with regulatory standards throughout the implementation lifecycle. • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with all the Global Process Owners, IT, and external consultants to ensure both project and future operating financials are understood and being carefully managed : WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED Experiences & Qualifications • Cross-functional stakeholder relationship management and ability to influence a large and complex set of stakeholders and make an impact on decision making • Experience with identifying risks and opportunities • Business case modelling in a complex environment • Qualified accountant or equivalent • A genuine interest in tech and digital advancements Skills Strong Resilience & Stakeholder management • Driving Business Performance • Strong communication skills and ability to present complex information in a simplified manner • Commercial acumen • Analytics, solution-orientated & controls mind set • Has the necessary experience and cultural awareness to work with a geographically, culturally diverse and global team NOTES Location In September 2020, Unilever announced the intention to build a new sustainable campus site in Kingston, London.
