Description

MIS Development: Design, develop, and maintain MIS reports and dashboards using SAS and/or Python to track key performance indicators and provide insights into business trends. Data Analysis and Visualization: Perform in-depth data analysis and create compelling visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders. Mortgage Industry Expertise: Apply deep knowledge of the mortgage industry, including MIS and regulatory requirements, to ensure the accuracy and relevance of our reporting and analysis. Regulatory Reporting: Support the delivery of regulatory reports and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations. Data-driven Insights: Proactively identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to provide actionable insights and recommendations to the Risk or Marketing teams. Individual Contribution: Work as a high-performing individual contributor, taking ownership of projects and delivering high-quality work with minimal supervision. Experience: 10+ years of experience as an individual contributor in a major bank, working within Risk or Marketing teams with a focus on the mortgage and retail banking industry. Programming: Expertise in SAS or Python for data analysis, MIS, and visualization. Database: Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation. Visualization Tools: Experience with visualization libraries in Python (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn) or other visualization tools is a plus. Mortgage Industry: Deep understanding of the mortgage industry, including key metrics, MIS, and regulatory deliverables. Business Acumen: Strong business acumen and the ability to translate data into actionable business insights. Analytical Mindset: A strong analytical mindset and a passion for working with data. Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex analysis to a non-technical audience.
