Job Details Level: Entry Job Location: Corporate HeadQuarters - LOS ANGELES, CA 90031 Position Type: Full Time Education Level: None Salary Range: $17.87 - $17.87 Hourly Travel Percentage: None Job Shift: Any Job Category: Nonprofit - Social Services Purpose: Process miscellaneous, clean, price, and properly stock sales floor. Assist customers as needed and help promote stores sales and encourage purchases. RESPONSIBILITIES: General Tasks and Targets: When in the store, assist customers in their needs, direct them with a smile to the proper department. Apply general customer service etiquette as needed to encourage returning customers and increased sales. They are our priority. Maintain all miscellaneous shelving fully stocked and clean at all times. When working in the “Miscellaneous Sorting/Pricing Area”, the minimum carts per day required is 5. Maintain your work area free of any hazards and organized at all times. When sorting miscellaneous items, price items accordingly and productively. Must be in compliance with company policies and safety procedures and adhere to them. All injuries and accidents must be reported to the immediate supervisor on duty. Any safety violations within the company must be reported immediately, on the same day the incident occurred, to the supervisor on duty. Breaks and Lunches must be taken on time while taking into consideration their fellow coworkers. Breaks begin and end as soon as clocking in/out. Other duties as assigned Qualifications REQUIREMENTS: Proper use of equipment Excellent Customer Service Proper loading, unloading, and tie-down of merchandise Bilingual Spanish/English preferred Report to work in a timely manner with the appropriate dress code. Observe appropriate times for breaks and lunches. These MUST be taken on time while taking into consideration fellow coworkers and store needs. Breaks begin and end in your assigned department or when clocking in/out. Stoop, kneel, bend at the waist and reach on a daily basis. Lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted. Push & pull up to 150 lbs. with appropriate equipment. Regular and on-time attendance is critical. Full-time employees are offered medical, dental, vision and 403b options.
