Join us and build a career that matters! Position Overview: KODA Technologies is seeking a Missile Defense System Architecture Engineer to join our team! In this role, you will evaluate Missile Defense (MD) threats, capability shortfalls, operational challenges, mission requirements, and emerging opportunities to develop architecture-level recommendations, system improvements, and future capability solutions. Active Secret Clearance is required. Key Responsibilities: Assess Missile Defense (MD) threats, capability gaps, challenges, needs and opportunities, and develop potential system mitigations and capability evolutions at the architecture level Support the above efforts by sourcing, generating, and organizing engineered threat data; developing threat scenarios; reviewing current threat intelligence reports Support analysis efforts of MDS architecture studies on the DoD High Performance Computing (HPC) Support Missile Defense Wargaming efforts Review and provide quality assurance of team analysis products prior to delivery; mentor younger engineers Required Qualifications: Master's degree in STEM and 12+ years' experience Extensive knowledge of the current MDS architecture and/or foreign missile systems Experience with Excel and data analysis Experience with MATLAB Desired Qualifications: Specialized MDS analysis experience in: threat characterization, trajectories, RF sensing/signatures, and/or EO/IR sensing/signatures Experience with M&S and analysis of MDS architectures involving future concepts Experience with TGx, HPC Systems, Python, and Git is a plus Experience with BMD Benchmark Experience with large datasets and data organization methods Experience working in the Missile Defense Agency Clearance: Active DoD Secret clearance is required; Ability to obtain a TS/SCI is required.
