THE MISSION

Munich-based OroraTech is offering a student internship position in satellite operations for a motivated and eager-to-learn individual. As a Satellite Operations Intern, you will have the unique opportunity to contribute to our mission of developing a constellation of nano-satellites with thermal infrared cameras for automated wildfire detection, land surface temperature measurement and other applications. With the successful launches of our hosted payload missions, FOREST-1 and FOREST-2, we have achieved major milestones in 2025 with the launch of FOREST-3, our first fully in-house developed satellite, and OTC-P1, our first hosted payload constellation plane. We are now preparing for the launch of our second set of 8 satellites, OTC-P2, planned for the end of 2025.
