Description Incarnate Word High School, an all-girls Catholic high school sponsored by the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word, seeks a full-time Mission & Ministry Coordinator for the 2026-2027 school year. The school aims to maintain a fully and authentically Catholic environment. REPORTS TO: This position reports to the President of Incarnate Word High School (IWHS). RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES: Acts as a role model of professionalism in a Catholic environment. Supports the school's philosophy, policies, goals, and the decisions made by the president and principal. Ensures the health, safety, and welfare of all students. Holds in strict confidence all matters of the school. Adheres to all policies and procedures outlined in the Parent/Student Handbook and Employee Handbook. Attends all faculty and administrative meetings. Facilitates an atmosphere of Christian hospitality where all feel welcome, based on Catholic faith traditions and rituals. Acknowledges and celebrates diversity with the school community. Communicates regularly with the president, principal, faculty, staff, students, and parents regarding campus ministry activities, programs, and projects. Works collaboratively with the administration in the development of faith-centered programs. Offers a variety of prayer experiences, both personal, communal, and seasonal. Provides opportunities for students, staff, and faculty to celebrate the Sacraments, especially the Eucharist and Reconciliation, including penance services during Advent and Lent. Plans and administers finances in adherence to the budget. Willingness to assume other extracurricular duties as needed, assigned by the President. QUALIFICATIONS: Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. The ability to resolve conflict and humbly contribute to a team. Articulating Catholic theological perspectives with breadth and depth and bringing them to life among high school students. Pastoral care and crisis response, including bereavement. Demonstrated initiative to organize and manage multiple projects. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the community. Organized, extremely detail-focused, and driven to meet project deadlines consistently. Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Understand resource limitations and can communicate challenges. Able to work some evenings and travel. 3 years’ experience in Campus Ministry/youth/young adult ministry preferred. Direct high school experience with an all-female school. Understand the Mission of Incarnate Word High School. Successful completion of VIRTUS and background check. Requirements REQUIRED EDUCATION: Practicing Catholic with a degree in Theology, Pastoral Ministry, or Religious Studies. (Master’s degree preferred.)
