Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Mission Planning Backend Software Engineer to support a cutting edge SaaS product. This individual will work alongside software developers, testers, and senior stakeholders to develop and integrate advanced software solutions for satellite environments. The Software Engineer will work hybrid out of Seattle, WA.

Responsibilities for the Software Engineer include:

• Develop APIs, integrate AWS services, and implement new features in a complex algorithm environment.
• Develop backend software capabilities using Python, C++, and Rust.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines with GitHub actions.

Required Qualifications for the Site Reliability Engineer include:

• 4+ years of experience with software development focusing on the backend
• Experience with Python, C++, and/or Rust
• Experience with AWS Services (ECS, EKS, S3, Cloudwatch, etc.)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitHub, and API integration
• Bachelor’s Degree

Compensation for the Software Engineer include:

• Salary Range: $130,000-180,000 depending on experience
