Description This position is contingent upon successful contract submission and award. Prevailance is seeking a Mission Security Specialist to support security planning, risk analysis, and operational oversight for high-profile international travel, missions, and events. This role is responsible for identifying security risks, developing mitigation strategies, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with NATO security standards. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in risk management, event security operations, and multinational coordination. Travel may be required. Responsibilities include, but not limited to: Travel & Threat Analysis Analyze travel databases to identify high-risk destinations and critical travel locations Collect and analyze security information from open-source intelligence (OSINT), classified reporting, and local advisories Conduct risk assessments in advance of missions and events to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation measures Security Planning & Event Support Develop security plans for high-risk missions and events in accordance with NATO security policies Lead site surveys and produce actionable security reports with mitigation recommendations Coordinate security logistics with local authorities, law enforcement, and intelligence agencies Provide on-site oversight during events, including Delegate Assistance Centers and registration areas Counterintelligence & Risk Mitigation Review attendee lists for non-NATO participants and assess counterintelligence (CI) risks Identify potential security threats and recommend mitigation strategies to safeguard personnel and operations Briefings & Documentation Deliver comprehensive security briefings to travelers and senior leadership Prepare formal security documentation, after-action reports (AARs), and lessons learned products Ensure compliance with NATO documentation standards for all security reports and records Provide consultations to internal stakeholders on security requirements and operational priorities Requirements Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in security administration, risk management, criminology, public administration, or industrial security Minimum 5 years of experience planning and executing security operations for high-profile events, international travel, or multinational missions Demonstrated experience conducting risk assessments, site surveys, and coordination with law enforcement and intelligence agencies Experience analyzing and interpreting security data from OSINT and classified/unclassified sources Proven ability to brief senior leadership and coordinate across internal and external stakeholders Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools US Citizen Current US / NATO Member Country Passport Desired Background supporting military, NATO, or multinational security operations Possess a familiarity with the organization and hierarchy of the Navy rank and grade structure Possess a knowledge of Navy terminology Education Recognized certification in Risk Management (e.g., PMP, CRMP, or equivalent) or related security credential Clearance Must possess and maintain a Secret security clearance If you meet these qualifications and are ready to make an impact, we encourage you to apply today!
