FOR GS-09 SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:

One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 level in the Federal service that included experience such as:

  • Identifying administrative problems to recommend solutions in multiple specialty areas.
  • Providing advice to staff on established methods and procedures on multiple specialty areas.
  • Providing administrative support to various specialty areas (i.e. acquisition, training, logistics, property, records management, mail, travel, human resources, and time and attendance).

OR

  • Education: Master’s or equivalent graduate degree, 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree OR LL.B. if related.

OR

  • Combination of Experience and Education: A combination of successfully completed post-high school education beyond the second year (i.e., education in excess of the first 60 semester hours) and experience which totals at least one year.
