Description

Amentum is seeking a Mission System Operator for a position in the vicinity of Ramstein AFB/Pirmasens, Germany. The Mission System Operator conducts realistic TTAO training via a combination of fixed, mobile, and MANPORTABLE mission system throughout the European Area of Operation.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have experience in related field at a military installation
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Computer skills
  • Valid driver’s license and passport
  • Must obtain German class B and C license within 6 months of hire
  • Previous work experience in an OCONUS environment preferred
  • Obtain German Driver’s license minimal requirement of C1E with the chanceof up to CE (Equals American CDL, vehicles with trailers up to 40,000kg)
  • Ability to obtain a German Forklift License as required
Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The Mission System Operator operates GBAD system.simulators and associated equipment
  • Understands U.S. Aircrew survivability.tactics and employs near-peer GBAD and IADS tactics in accordance withScenario controller and /or customer requirements.
  • Operates legacy Threat Emitters in accordance with Scenario Controller and/or customer requirements up to U.S. SECRET training parameters
  • Transport, set up, complete pre mission checks, operate and clean.all mobile, fixed and support and associated equipment.
  • TRTG, SSAM, WESS, RWR, MAST, Malina, Griffen, Inflatable Decoys, Inflatable Decoy Blowers, Metal Decoys, UHF/VHF Radios, Remote Radio Kits, Generators, Laser Detection Systems, Mutes
  • JTE and MC@ under the guidance by Advanced Mission System Operator
  • MALTS-V (Drive, Setup, Teardown Only
  • MALTS-D (Drive, Setup, Teardown Only)
  • Complete operator level maintenance on all electronic equipment
  • Setup, tear down and shipment of all equipment under the EWOTIM PWSusing manuals and required test equipment
  • Drive all required vehicles required to move, transport, load,unload and operate equipment
  • Load and unload equipment being transported by shipping companies orAir Force (Road, Rail or Air)
  • Transport and secure munitions
  • Support Maintainers while maintenance is being accomplished onequipment
  • Travel to temporary duty stations on short notice and for extendedperiods of time in support of missions, training, and conferences
  • Report any deficiencies or outages of all equipment to MaintenanceControl and Maintenance personnel
  • Accomplish corrosion control and repair on all equipment
  • Complete IMDS inputs for actions taken on repairs
  • Transport to or receive parts, equipment, and vehicles to and fromLRS and VRS
  • Assist with all GFP inventories and accountability, filling tags and paperwork under guidance of Supply Technicians and Maintainers for turning in serviceable or unserviceableparts and equipment
  • Submit corrections for equipment and manual improvements and develop, improve or correct checklists and procedures

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Report and deficiencies or outages of any facilities to the FacilityManager
  • Move office supplies or furniture
  • Work in all weather conditions, remove snow and ice from facilities
  • Clean all areas, vehicles, and equipment by means of sweeping,vacuuming, moping, wiping, dusting and power washing
  • Position may involve extending reaching, stooping, kneeling, pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs., ability to use MS Office/Computer
