Description About Us 24 Hour Flood Pros is a fast-growing, national disaster mitigation company specializing in water, fire, and mold damage response. We provide 24/7 emergency services to residential and commercial clients while working closely with insurance carriers, referral partners, and property managers. As we continue to expand, we are seeking experienced mitigation leaders who can help build, operate, and scale high-performing water mitigation operations. Position Summary The Mitigation Project Manager is responsible for building, operating, and scaling the water mitigation division from the ground up. This role requires a hands-on leader who is comfortable performing field work while also managing operations, sales support, staff, and financial performance as the business grows. In the initial phase, this role will personally handle all aspects of mitigation operations, including field work, customer communication, job documentation, estimating, and billing. As the company expands, the role transitions into a leadership and oversight position responsible for hiring, training, and managing a full mitigation team. Key Responsibilities Field Operations & Technical Execution Perform hands-on water mitigation services including emergency response, water extraction, demolition, equipment setup, monitoring, and dry-out procedures Manage 24/7 emergency response coordination and on-call scheduling as needed Conduct moisture mapping, documentation, and daily job monitoring in accordance with IICRC standards Ensure proper equipment usage, material tracking, and jobsite safety Project Management & Documentation Communicate professionally with homeowners, property managers, plumbers, adjusters, and insurance carriers Create and manage job scopes, estimates, invoices, and documentation for insurance claims Oversee job profitability, material usage, and equipment management Ensure files are accurate, compliant, and audit-ready Leadership, Marketing & Growth Recruit, hire, train, and manage mitigation technicians as volume increases Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for mitigation workflows Track KPIs, job performance metrics, and operational costs Build and maintain referral relationships with plumbers, HVAC companies, property managers, agents, and other partners Support and participate in local marketing and business development efforts Collaborate with company leadership on budgeting, growth planning, and operational improvements Required Qualifications Proven industry experience in water mitigation IICRC Certification (required) Mold Certification (required) Strong understanding of insurance-driven mitigation workflows Marketing and referral-based growth experience Valid professional license(s) as required by local/state regulations Clean background and ability to pass pre-employment screening Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record Preferred Qualifications Experience building or scaling a mitigation operation Leadership experience managing crews or departments Strong estimating, documentation, and carrier communication skills This Role Requires Willingness to work in the field initially, including nights, weekends, and emergency calls Strong leadership with the ability to build systems, not just run jobs Accountability, integrity, and the ability to operate independently with minimal oversight Compensation & Benefits Competitive compensation based on experience Performance-based growth opportunities Medical, dental, and vision insurance options Paid time off and long-term career development Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Statement 24 Hour Flood Pros is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, veteran status, or any other protected status under applicable law.
