Job Title: Concrete Mixer Driver / Batcher
Location: Peterborough /corby
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Overtime as required)
Job Overview:
We are a growing mini-mix concrete business seeking a reliable and experienced Concrete Mixer Driver who can also batch concrete. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality concrete to our customers while ensuring safe and efficient mixing and batching operations. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate the concrete mixer truck safely and efficiently, delivering ready-mix concrete to various locations.
• Batch concrete according to customer specifications and mix designs.
• Maintain accurate records of batching and delivery details.
• Ensure the concrete mixer is clean and in good working condition.
• Perform routine checks and minor maintenance on vehicles and equipment.
• Communicate effectively with the operations team and customers to ensure timely deliveries and address any issues.
• Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Assist in managing the quality control of concrete batches and deliveries.
• Overtime hours may be required based on demand and business needs.

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license and a up to date cpc card
• Previous a concrete mixer truck and batching concrete is preferred.
• Ability to batch concrete and adjust mix designs as needed.
• Strong understanding of concrete properties, mixing, and delivery processes.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work efficiently and independently.
• Physical ability to lift and move equipment, tools, and materials as necessary.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime when required.
• Strong focus on safety and maintaining a clean and orderly work environment.

Compensation:

• Competitive hourly wage based on experience.
