Job Posting Position: Mixer Operator Shift Schedule: Morning (7am - 3pm) and Afternoons (3pm - 11pm) Location: 122 Carrier Drive. Etobicoke, ON. M9W 5R1 Pay Rate: $20.50/hr Responsibilities Scale all ingredients according to recipes. Cut, weigh, scale, measure and place dough in bins/mixing bowls and move into fermentation area Fill mixers with pre-measured ingredients in correct sequence. Monitor and maintain the correct size, color and weight of various products as set out by our recipe specifications Troubleshoot dough, adding ingredients to ensure the quality expectations are being met and taking into account the variables such as ingredients, temperature Keep the area clean and put away utensils in the proper location after use. Adhere to all Food Safety and Health & Safety policies and procedures and have an understanding and respect for GMPs. Requirements Previous experience as a mixer in a food manufacturing / production setting is preferred A lover of bread and baked goods! You have strong people skills—you’re approachable, a good listener, and empathetic You have previously worked in a manufacturing environment (even better if it was food manufacturing!)
