About the Role

We’re looking for a talented, creative and experienced Mocktail & Cocktail Mixologist to help build our beverage offering from the ground up.

Initially, the role will focus on creating exceptional non-alcoholic mocktails, with the opportunity to transition into full cocktail service once our liquor licence is approved.

You’ll have the creative freedom to develop signature, Instagram-worthy drinks that complement our African-inspired menu and premium dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

* Design and prepare premium mocktails for daily service, special occasions and events

* Help develop a distinctive signature drinks menu, including African-inspired flavours and ingredients

* Create visually impressive drinks with beautiful garnishes and presentation

* Maintain consistency in flavour, quality, portioning and presentation

* Assist with bar and beverage station setup and organisation

* Monitor beverage ingredients, garnishes and stock levels

* Maintain excellent hygiene and cleanliness standards

* Suggest seasonal, themed and event-specific drink specials

* Deliver warm, professional and friendly guest service

* Work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to create a seamless dining experience

* Transition into cocktail preparation and alcoholic beverage service once our liquor licence is approved and all licensing requirements are met

What We’re Looking For

* Previous experience as a mixologist, bartender or professional drink maker

* Strong mocktail and/or cocktail-making skills

* Creativity and confidence in developing original drinks

* Excellent knowledge of flavour combinations, garnishing, glassware and presentation

* Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences

* Reliable, professional and well-presented

* Ability to work evenings, weekends and events as required

* RSA certification, or willingness to obtain the required certification before serving alcohol

* Fine-dining, restaurant, lounge or high-volume hospitality experience is highly regarded

* Knowledge of African or tropical flavours is an advantage, but not essential
