Mixologist (Seasonal)
We’re looking for a fun and dynamic Mixologist to shake, stir, curate & captivate our guests this summer on our pool deck! If you enjoy serving delicious cocktails and meeting people from all over the world in downtown Toronto, this is the role for you.
This position is available until mid-September and must be available to work Thursday through Sunday.

Responsibilities

To successfully fill this role, you should be able to demonstrate the attitude, behaviors, skills and values that follow:

  • Create beverages and cocktails including the classics, what’s featured on the menu and any special guest requests
  • Be dedicated to delivering exceptional guest service and creating an elevated experience for the guest
  • Ensure precise measurements to cocktail menu and pay close attention to the presentation of each cocktail, using garnishes, glassware, and serving techniques to create visually appealing drinks
  • Collaborate with our team to refine and improve existing cocktail recipes, as well as create new and innovative concoctions
  • Create and settle guest tabs and accounts
  • Set up, stock, and maintain work areas. Stock ice, glassware, and supplies
  • Provide assistance to team members when necessary
  • Complete opening and closing duties including setting up necessary supplies and tool

To successfully fill this role, you should be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Minimum of 2 years in Bartending service
  • Proven experience as a mixologist or bartender with a deep understanding of cocktail preparation techniques
  • Excellent knowledge of various spirits, liqueurs, and mixers
  • Ability to create unique and appealing flavor profiles
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to develop and maintain strong relations with guests and all team members
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft office software, POS system, Reservation system, and other related applications
  • Flexible schedule, must be able to work Evenings and weekends
