JOB DESCRIPTION

The MLD Architect serves as the single point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including customers and suppliers, representing the entire change team. They lead a cross-functional team, ensuring full product life cycle management for quality and compliance, and provide technical support for SICR to prevent product line downtime. The MLD Architect filters and aligns requests with the Product Owner (PO) before adding them to the backlog, resolving issues independently where possible to minimize team interruptions and maintain focus on continuous activities

Responsibilities
  • Coordinating the investigation and the execution of MLD-change requests for his/her assigned products. This includes both the coordination and monitoring of problems arising in day-to-day business. Furthermore, the core tasks include the implementation of the agreed measures to maintain and improve product quality.
  • Leading a (change) team, built out of cross-functional members with their specific competences.
  • Work closely with the Product Owner to ensure alignment on priority settings and the content of the changes.
  • Overseeing life cycle management, ensuring the quality and compliance of his products.
  • Optionally take on additional systems engineering responsibilities, e.g.
  • Product risk management for one or more products
  • Technical leadership of complex outsourced components including technical supplier management (e.g. for cooling units)
    You will be part of an agile team that deals with the development and life cycle management of medical X-ray tubes for CT, interventional and standard X-ray systems.
    You will be engaged in working with state-of-the-art diagnostic x-ray tubes within a diverse global team of engineers. Our x-segments are intricate technical components, featuring advanced expertise in domains such as physics, high voltage, mechanical engineering, power and digital electronics, and software.

To be successful in this role, you should bring the following experience/abilities :

  • Masters Degree in Electronics/Mechanics Engineering
  • Several years of experience in an engineering environment
  • Stakeholder management: ability to communicate vision and need and create buy-in
  • Managing uncertainty and complexity.
  • Structured approaches like FMEA DfSS, Dfx and DfA
  • capable of the solution creation for change requests
  • Problem Solving & Route Cause Analysis
  • Product Risk Management
  • Fluent in English, German
