Description
Boutique which is apart of a wider group of financial business urgently needs a MLRO to join their office in Sliema. As a MLRO, you will be part of a high-performing and, diverse group responsible safe guarding the company and offering advice to the Managing Director. This is an office-based role with flexible hours and offers a salary of up to €65K-€68K plus benefits. Role & Responsibilities Offer assistance with all communications and notifications to regulatory bodies Transaction monitoring; Due Diligence & KYC process for customer on-boarding Periodical reviews of KYC documentation Filing of STR with FIAU Liaising with FIAU & preparing and submitting annually BRA. Making sure that the Bank is compliant with all AML requirements by working closely with the Head of Legal & Compliance Assess and report suspicious activity and ensure all findings are acted upon in a timely and appropriate manner Work closely across the company with those involved in KYC, Fraud and Risk Offer assistance internal audit procedures, practices and document Provide and assist AML and CFT training Education, Skills & Experience Sound knowledge of AML/CFT compliance along with Maltese corporate service providers regulatory framework Knowledge of local banking structures would be a plus Excellent communication skills especially in English, both verbal and written Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word and MS Outlook About this role Office based (Monday to Friday and flexible hours) Up to €65K- €68K plus benefits Fantastic career progression *JobMatchingPartner Limited is a recruitment agency licenced in Malta, EU with licence no EA00340-2024.
