JOB SUMMARY

The purpose of this position is to administer the Mailing List Services (MLS) program. By serving as the MLS Administrator, key components of the role include maintaining inter-agency partnerships, executing marketing and outreach strategies, processing client orders and billings, and managing the technical infrastructure necessary to operate the MLS program.
You will function as both a service provider and program analyst reviewing activities for compliance, evaluating outcomes, and recommending enhancements. Additionally, you will support the Communication Team’s broader mission but contributing to digital communications and strategic planning, along with serving as an alternate publisher of the State Register to ensure continuity of the publication and program.
This position is eligible for up to a 50% hybrid telework arrangement. With a telework arrangement, additional onsite attendance may be required for team meetings or as requested by management to meet business needs. Completion of a telework agreement will be required. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

The following qualifications are required of all applicants seeking consideration for this position. Only applicants whose application materials clearly demonstrate fulfillment of each of these minimum qualifications will be considered for the position.

  • One (1) year of experience in customer service demonstrating excellent interpersonal and communication skills while assisting customers with tasks such as order processing, payment transactions, resolving issues, answering questions, etc.
  • Experience with cleaning and formatting datasets (e.g., remove duplicates, filter, merge and join, pivot) using basic spreadsheet or database software.
  • Knowledge of marketing/communications planning, practices, and strategies to address a wide variety of audiences and situations.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve technology problems specific to program delivery.
  • Interpersonal, human relations, and communication skills to effectively relate and work with a variety of employees and customer groups.
  • Strong organization, project, and time management skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience working for federal, state, municipal, or tribal governments/organizations.
  • Knowledge of accessibility rules and guidelines and plain language principles.
  • Knowledge of state policies, procedures, and practices in the areas of information and data practices.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as a member of the team fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Ability to demonstrate effective leadership during crisis communication.
