Description JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title: 3rd Shift Warehouse Worker Hourly Salary Non-Exempt Exempt Department: Warehouse Level 1 Reports To: Warehouse Manager Is this a new or revised job description? New Revised Effective Date: 12/29/2025 Position Overview: Engages in receiving, transporting, stacking, sorting, supplying, shipping, maintaining and recording of stock in warehouse. Essential Job Functions: Unloading and arranging of incoming raw and packaging freight for storage in the warehouse. Obtains samples of every lot for testing and labels appropriately. Managing warehouse storage according to allergen and organic policies. Handling of bulk materials unloading which includes hooking to the proper silo sampling material and checking tailings. Inspection of incoming freight to make sure all items on freight bill or bill of lading are received and notification to manager or lead of damaged goods. Handles all entries of materials into computer system. Labeling, palletizing and packing of product for shipment. Loading of outgoing freight. Moving of any materials into and out of production areas – plus rotation of stock. Involved in inventory counts of materials and product to maintain accurate inventories. Cleaning of warehouse and production areas when necessary. All other reasonable work requests from manager. Non Essential Job Functions: Participates on committees and engaging in special projects. Daily interaction with all departments within the company. Frequent interaction with common outside carriers and drivers.
Responsibilities
The warehouse worker is responsible for unloading, arranging, and inspecting incoming freight, as well as managing warehouse storage and handling outgoing shipments. They also participate in inventory counts and maintain cleanliness in the warehouse.
