SUMMARY

At Polyvision, we exist to make products that make the world a better place. Polyvision is a private equity backed company with production facilities in both Okmulgee, Oklahoma, and Genk, Belgium.
As Manager of Human Resources, this individual will be essential to our HR and strategic planning process. This role will be heavily engaged with both the direct team and outsourced HR Providers ensuring that our talent acquisition, performance management systems and incentive compensation systems are effectively deployed throughout the North America organization and connected globally. This executive will partner with each of the operating leaders and the Managing Director to ensure we are driving a positive company culture.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in HR Management
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, or equivalent job/industry experience
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written in order to interact knowledgeably with and impact both internal and external parties
  • Knowledge of Federal, State and local labor regulations and HR practices
  • Demonstrate high levels of passion, curiosity and commitment and adhere to Polyvision core values
  • Be able to demonstrate business acumen by synthesizing and analyzing information effectively
  • Hands-on and proactive workstyle
  • Able to build alignment for initiatives and programs
  • Superior project management ability and drive-for-results mentality

Responsibilities
  • Develop, update and implement Human Resources Handbook, policies, and procedures.
  • Support strategic business objectives.
  • Lead talent acquisition, labor planning, hiring process and negotiation of employment agreements.
  • Deliver effective strategic HR initiatives to drive employee performance and engagement.
  • Administer HR programs with third party vendors (payroll, 401K and employee benefit plans)
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws/regulations including, but not limited to, ERISA and EEO regulations.
  • Develop, implement and manage a formal annual performance management process that aligns employee targets and compensation with strategic and operative objectives.
  • Manage incentive plans to ensure calculation and processing.
  • Maintain company organizational charts and the employee directory.
  • Develop, implement and manage training programs to support employee development and growth.
  • Recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to continually improve department efficiency.
  • Maintain HR information system records and compile reports using our HR and payroll service.
  • Work closely with hiring managers to ensure strong talent sourcing strategies are in place for efficient and effective talent sourcing.
  • Work closely with key leaders to develop frameworks to identify and monitor high potential employees in collaboration with the HR Business Partner.
  • Lead HR strategy, budget, hiring and communications related to the production facility move.
  • Understanding and management of the current Union agreement.
