Our company offers innovative delivery solutions through a user-friendly mobile app, and we need a talented developer to help enhance and maintain our app for both iOS and Android platforms. As an App Developer, you will work in close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure that the app provides an optimal experience for customers, delivery agents, and business users.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms, ensuring high performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, and other team members to define and implement app features and functionalities.
• Develop and integrate features like order tracking, push notifications, payment gateway integration, real-time geolocation services, and driver/customer communication tools.
• Ensure the app is bug-free and delivers a smooth experience by debugging and resolving issues promptly.
• Stay up to date with the latest mobile development trends, tools, and technologies to continuously enhance the app’s functionality.
• Optimize app performance for speed and efficiency while ensuring it’s responsive across all devices and screen sizes.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs and services (e.g., for payment processing, location tracking, delivery status updates).
• Conduct regular testing of mobile apps to ensure high-quality standards and troubleshoot issues to improve the app’s usability.
• Monitor and analyze app performance, user feedback, and analytics to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Provide ongoing maintenance and support for the mobile app, including updates and new feature implementations.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in mobile app development (iOS and Android).
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Swift, Kotlin, Java, or JavaScript (React Native is a plus).
• Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries to connect mobile apps with backend services.
• Familiarity with mobile app testing frameworks and automated testing tools.
• Strong understanding of mobile app development life cycles, from design to deployment.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies and services such as Firebase, AWS, or Google Cloud for mobile app integration.
• Solid knowledge of UX/UI principles to create intuitive user experiences.
• Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code to improve app performance.
• Knowledge of delivery logistics and real-time data tracking in a mobile app context.
• Understanding of the UAE market and consumer behavior is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience working with agile development methodologies and version control systems (Git).
