PURPOSE:

• To assist the kitchen teams and utilise best practice to provide cover for Kitchens across the Yellow Door operation.
• To assist our kitchens and utilise best practice to provide cover for our kitchens. Assist kitchen teams with outside catering events,parachuting in to assist with kitchen cover where required.
• You will use your passion for fresh food to deliver the highest quality meals that meet the company requirements. You will assist kitchen teams to ensure quality, cleanliness and customer satisfaction & maximum profitability. You will continually support the development of our kitchen team.
• You will have extensive knowledge of fresh, Local ingredients and be able to easily move from one kitchen to the next.
• You will use your skills and knowledge to ensure maximum profitability & safe delivery of our food offering.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To be mobile across the Yellow Door outlets filling gaps where required.
• To create and produce the highest quality food matching the company specifications
• Supervise and train the kitchen teams where required
• Take instruction from the Head Chef and General Manager where required.
• Ensure food standards, preparation, presentation and service are maintained to the highest level
• Ensure hygienic working practices are carried out by all kitchen team
• Ensure up to date knowledge of relevant legislation affecting the kitchen
• Adhere to health and safety requirements
• Ensure company administration is carried out where required
• Keep food stock levels to the company standards
• Stock takes as required by the business
• Support with the regular achievement of gross profit margins
• Observe Health, Safety and Hygiene requirements
• Collaborate with the company Food Development Manager as required
