Mobile catering supervisor position covering various Approved Premises around the Yorkshire and Humber region .

  • 40 Hours per week
  • 5 over 7 days per week
  • 6am-2pm typically but change to suit business needs

Job Introduction
As a Mobile Cleaning Supervisor with Sodexo, you’ll oversee cleaning operations across multiple Approved Premises (APs) circa 25 sites, AP & Offices within the the Yorkshire and Humber region. You’ll be responsible for supervising teams across several sites, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene is consistently maintained to create safe, healthy environments.
This role involves regular interaction with both your cleaning teams and clients, requiring strong communication, leadership, and a commitment to excellence. Your contribution will directly support the quality of life for those living and working within these premises.
Approved Premises play a key role in the effective reintegration of individuals released from prison, offering enhanced supervision, monitoring, and support within a community setting. This position offers valuable experience working in residential environments with complex and vulnerable individuals, deepening your understanding of the Criminal Justice System.

What you’ll do:

  • Ensure completion of all requested/contracted tasks and motivate your team to effectively ensure these are completed in a timely and thorough manner.
  • You’ll be provided a company vehicle along with a fuel card to visit different sites and assist your team to carry out a list of scheduled cleaning tasks.
  • In this role, you’ll be given a lot of responsibility to ensure yours and you’re teams tasks are carried out within the timescales given.
  • Use your own initiative in reviewing the impact that your team are having on you’re site, as your leadership should pave the way of successful feedback from the client.
  • Oversee the ordering of stock and consumables such as toilet tissue, cleaning products and appliances. Also ensuring that a record of this is kept for compliance.
  • Be a champion of health and safety practices - spot a near miss? Report it to keep your colleagues safe!
  • Ensure regular safety walks are completed, to pick up any hazards.
  • Frequent feedback sessions with your team, to ensure they are confident and happy in their roles.

What you bring:

  • Full UK driving license
  • Previous experience in a similar role, with knowledge of cleaning solutions and their uses is desirable, as well as some team leading experience.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Can work at a fast pace and adapt to change when needed
  • Be a team player and take instruction
