JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Mobile Crane Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of cranes and boom trucks from 35 Ton - 165 Ton in Calgary and surrounding areas. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with team members and clients to ensure safe and efficient operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in taxi crane operation.
  • Class 1 Drivers License with clean abstract.
  • Familiarity with rigging techniques and safety standards related to crane operations.
  • Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with equipment as they arise.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with team members, clients, and supervisors effectively.

Responsibilities
  • Operate cranes and boom trucks to lift, move, and position materials as required on construction sites.
  • Perform rigging tasks, ensuring that loads are secured properly before lifting.
  • Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
  • Collaborate with ground crew members to communicate load movements and ensure safety protocols are followed.
  • Maintain accurate records of daily operations, including equipment inspections and maintenance logs.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs and concerns professionally.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while operating equipment.
