Quattro Plant Limited are looking to recruit a Mobile Crane Operator to join our existing team. You will be required to operate the crane in a safe and controlled manner, in compliance with all Company safety procedures.

KEY ATTRIBUTES, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • CPCS (or equivalent) competencies for crane operation
  • Fully conversant with the safe operation (and where appropriate, the maintenance requirements) of the crane
  • Ability to fault find (desirable)
  • Awareness of the appropriate safety procedures and attentive to risk at all times
  • Good team player, responsible, dependable with a mature attitude
  • Good spatial awareness
  • Attention to detail
  • Polite, customer focused and the desire to do a good job
  • Ability to remain calm in stressful situations
  • Holds current driving licence
  • Physically fit
    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
    Pay: £15.50 per hour
    Expected hours: No less than 39 per week

Responsibilities
  • To carry out all operational crane duties as assigned by your line manager and/or the customers representative
  • To complete daily crane pre start checks, recording and reporting any defects or safety concerns
  • To set up the crane safely to conduct movement of materials according to the manufacturers guidelines
  • To monitor crane stability and load weights, ensuring safe operation at all times
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with the customers representatives
  • Develop further opportunities for additional hires by making sure your conduct and performance exceed the customer’s expectations
  • Carry out daily routine maintenance for which you are deemed competent to undertake
  • Comply with the core values of the business with regards to Health and Safety at all time.
  • Make sure you read, fully understand and sign all Risk Assessments pertaining to all tasks and activities you undertake.
  • Report any vehicle defects whilst continually monitoring safety performance
  • Report any accident, incident, unsafe act, omission or near miss in a timely manner
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and Respiratory Protective Equipment (RPE) must be used as directed
  • Participate in drug and alcohol screening when required (this may be either “random” or “with cause” following an incident)
