JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Crane Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of cranes and heavy machinery to facilitate the movement of materials and equipment on job sites. This role requires strong communication skills, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience as a Crane Operator or in a similar role within the construction or manufacturing industry.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge related to crane operation and maintenance.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with team members; bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus.
  • Familiarity with rigging techniques and safety practices in lifting operations.
  • Excellent customer service skills to interact with clients and stakeholders professionally.
  • Valid crane operator certification is preferred; additional certifications related to heavy machinery operation are advantageous.
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed based on project demands.

Responsibilities
  • Operate cranes, including boom trucks and forklifts, to lift, move, and position loads as required by project specifications.
  • Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
  • Communicate effectively with ground crew and other operators to coordinate movements and ensure safety protocols are followed.
  • Maintain accurate logs of operations, including load weights and equipment usage.
  • Perform routine maintenance on cranes and report any mechanical issues promptly.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while on the job site.
  • Assist in rigging loads for safe transport and ensure proper securing of materials during movement.
