As a Mobile Crisis On-Call Counselor, you will provide on-site support and consultation to clients experiencing mental health crises in community or home settings. This role is vital in helping individuals achieve stability during critical moments. Current openings & locations: (1) Mason City, IA - The shifts range from 7a-3p, 3p-11p and 11p-7a daily. Responsibilities Crisis Response (30%): Deliver immediate intervention and support to clients in crisis at the location where the crisis is occurring Documentation (30%): Complete all required data entry and documentation in accordance with agency policy . On-Call Availability (30%): Be reachable by phone and ready to respond within a 1-hour radius, coordinating with your on-call partner Compliance & Standards (10%): Uphold UnityPoint Health values, maintain required certifications, and adhere to HIPAA and other regulatory guidelines Qualifications Education: Must meet one of the following: Mental health professional as defined in Iowa Code section 228.1 Bachelor’s degree; or Associate’s degree; or High school diploma Experience (based on education level noted above): Mental health professional: 1 year of mental health experience Bachelor’s in human services: 1 year Bachelor’s in non-human services: 2 years Associate’s degree: 2 years High school diploma: 2 years Licenses/Certifications: Valid driver’s license and compliance with Eyerly Ball’s auto insurance policy Must pass criminal records and dependent adult/child abuse checks
