The Mobile Experience & Engineering unit is the central place for SAP’s mobile app development and everything around mobile technology. In our responsibility lies the holistic, persona-centric mobile portfolio definition, the overall mobile app development, including app lifecycle management plus the necessary governance to ensure customer success.
SAP Service and Asset Manager stands as one of the flagship products within our portfolio, serving over 400 prominent worldwide clients across diverse sectors such as food production, energy, utilities, and transportation, with several tens of thousands of end users.

REQUIREMENTS

• Good programming skills in at least one of the following: JavaScript/SAPUI5, Java, ABAP OO, Kotlin, C#, Swift or Objective-C
• Solid background in computer software development fundamentals and technologies
• Willingness to learn other programming languages and tools, such as NativeScript, TypeScript, ABAP • Experience with agile software development methodologies
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with BTP development
• Experience with SAP PM and EWM modules
• Experience in OData, SQL, jQuery, XML, JSON or data modelling

SUMMARY & ROLE INFORMATION

We are seeking a dedicated Mobile Developer to join our SAP Service and Asset Manager development team in Budapest. We welcome applicants with experience in backend (ABAP or BTP development) or frontend development, such as Fiori app development. The successful candidate will have the flexibility to specialize either in backend (ABAP system or BTP) or frontend development (Javascript) for our native mobile application, based on their experience and interests.
This Mobile Software Developer position also offers a path to evolve into a comprehensive full stack mobile developer. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile apps utilizing SAP’s development tools
