Description
Description We’re hiring a Mobile Developer in Uruguay to build mobile-first product experiences and the services that power them. You’ll work across React Native (or native) and a modern Node.js/TypeScript backend, owning features end-to-end with a strong bias toward mobile UX, performance, and reliability. What You’ll Do Ship mobile features in React Native (TypeScript) or Swift/Kotlin with smooth UX, accessibility, and offline-first patterns. Design and implement mobile-optimized REST APIs/BFFs in Node.js/TypeScript (auth, rate-limiting, caching, input validation). Integrate push notifications, deep links, secure storage, analytics, and feature flags. Model data and write efficient queries (PostgreSQL/MySQL; plus Redis for caching/queues), considering sync/conflict resolution for mobile. Handle app releases and store submissions (App Store/Play Store) and basic environment/config management. Troubleshoot production issues and improve performance across the stack. Collaborate with product/design to scope work, break down tasks, and deliver iteratively. Write pragmatic automated tests and participate in code reviews (no specific frameworks required). Requirements 2–3 years building production software, including ≥2 years in mobile. Strong React Native + TypeScript skills or native iOS/Android with willingness to work cross-platform. Solid server-side experience with Node.js/TypeScript and REST; understanding of auth (JWT/OAuth), pagination, batching, and caching. Clear communication, ownership mindset, and effective collaboration in cross-functional teams. Nice to have RN New Architecture (TurboModules), native bridges, advanced navigation/state patterns. Image/CDN pipelines for mobile, edge runtimes/CDN. Payments, mobile ads SDKs (interstitial/rewarded), A/B testing, remote config. Security hardening for mobile (Keychain/Keystore, certificate pinning, device attestation). good level of English.
