Description Mobile Diesel Technician - Truck Mechanic$35/per hour and up (based on experience) When you work with Clarke, you are working with an industry leader! Our team is currently looking for a Diesel Technician - Truck Mechanic, with 5 plus years’ experience to keep up our level of commitment to safety and customer service operating a service truck and performing onsite maintenance & repairs. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Must be able to work 70% in field and 30% in shop environment Service and repair work, engine, drive train, steering, electrical, suspension and brakes Perform engine and aftertreatment diagnostics Troubleshooting and inspections Preventative Maintenance Computer savvy Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills Must be able to work independently Will perform onsite maintenance & repairs at customer's location Will operate mobile service truck daily (can take truck home) Preventative Maintenance Service Background Required CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Valid Driver's License with good driving record Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is a plus ASE Certifications a plus PHYSICAL and SAFETY REQUIREMENTS While performing the duties of this job, the associate will be required to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit. The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and reach with hands and arms. The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs with assistance. Must be able to read and write reports. Implement and enforce Health and Safety rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and prescribed instructions. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE 5+ years Preventative Maintenance Service Background Required Preferred Certificate or Degree from Diesel Program Why Should You Apply?
