Receive donations by greeting donors with a kind, positive, outgoing personality that is welcoming and exudes the highest level of customer service. 2. Drive a F-250 Pickup Truck and pull a 26-foot trailer while being responsible for observing all traffic laws, in order to safely distribute the trailer to a donation site in the surrounding areas. 3. Communicate with and assist the Receiving Management team at a store when dropping off full gaylords/pallets. 4. Have the ability to travel to mobile sites to increase KARM visibility and receive donations in Knox County and surrounding areas. 6. Ability to take inventory of trailer contents and remain responsible for those contents and donations stored inside the trailer, including presorting through clothing and miscellaneous donations in between receiving them in the trailer.  7.  Ability to use a pallet jack and move pallets and gaylords on and off of the donation trailer using a ramp Skills and Requirements 1. Must have a valid TN driver’s license (Class D with F endorsement, or CDL), must provide proof of personal vehicle insurance (to prove insurability), must have a good driving record. 2. Compliance with Hands Free Tennessee law. 3. Must have physical strength and bodily health to move heavy furniture items and work in/on a truck and/or in a warehouse setting. 4. Ability to use cell phones, tablets and GPS devices. 5. Basic ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide. 6. Ability to read (in English), comprehend, analyze, and interpret. 7. Basic computer skills with keyboard and Internet/Web browser 8. Must be a people person with a willing attitude and have a servant’s heart. 9. Must have a commitment to the KARM Stores mission. 10. Ability to read and define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. 11. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions provided in written or oral form.
Responsibilities
The Mobile Donation Trailer Driver is responsible for receiving donations and providing excellent customer service while driving a pickup truck and trailer to various donation sites. The role includes inventory management and assisting the Receiving Management team at the store.
