Description

HOURS: MONDAY - FRIDAY (FULL -TIME)

Due to continued growth on the electrical side of the business, a well-established and expanding company is seeking a Mobile Electrician to join its commercial maintenance team. The successful candidate will work across a variety of commercial and industrial sites, carrying out electrical installations, maintenance, fault finding, and testing.
We’re looking for someone enthusiastic, reliable, and committed, with strong knowledge of electrical installations, maintenance, fault-finding, and testing. You must have completed a recognised electrical apprenticeship and passed your AM2 assessment.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Completion of a recognised electrical apprenticeship with AM2 certification
  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification (BS7671)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Proven experience in commercial or industrial electrical environments
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
  • Good communication and reporting abilities

Responsibilities
  • Carrying out electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs within commercial and industrial premises
  • Fault finding, testing, and inspection on single and three-phase systems
  • Installing lighting, power supplies, containment systems, and distribution boards
  • Ensuring all work complies with current IET Wiring Regulations (18th Edition)
  • Completing electrical certification, including EICRs, Minor Works, and Installation Certificates
  • Performing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and responding to reactive callouts
  • Working independently across multiple client sites, as well as part of a wider team
  • Always maintaining high health and safety standards
  • Providing professional and courteous service to clients on-site
