CTR Engineering are seeking a Mobile Carpenter with Fabric Maintenance and Fire Door Experience to join one of London’s leading commercial property maintenance providers. The ideal candidate will come from a carpentry background and have hands-on experience in fabric maintenance and fire door installation, inspection, and repair within commercial environments.

REQUIREMENTS:

• NVQ or City & Guilds in Carpentry (or equivalent)
• Proven experience working with fire doors (repairs, maintenance, and compliance)
• Strong fabric maintenance knowledge across commercial sites
• Multi-skilled across various trades desirable (e.g., plumbing, tiling, decorating)
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills
• Experience working within facilities maintenance is preferred

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Carry out carpentry-related tasks including fire door installation, maintenance, and compliance checks
• Perform day-to-day building fabric repairs to a high standard
• Diagnose and resolve issues such as leaking sinks, faulty flush handles, or no hot water
• Conduct maintenance on undercounter water heaters and general plumbing fixtures
• Carry out minor works across multiple trades such as painting, tiling, plastering, and patch repairs
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with health & safety procedures
• Maintain accurate records and ensure timely completion of works within client SLAs
• Provide excellent customer service and always represent the company professionally
