ROLE OVERVIEW

Reporting to the M2E COO, you will be part of the exceptionally talented M2E Development Art team. Your main responsibility is to transform raw scan data into high-quality, production-ready assets that meet the standards of our library FAB and tools like Unreal Engine. You will also be responsible for verifying the quality of assets produced by external partners before they are added to the FAB Library and providing feedback to support their continuous improvement. This position is ideal for someone with a strong artistic eye, a solid technical understanding of photogrammetry workflows, and a genuine passion for creating realistic 3D

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Using a combination of 2D modeling, sculpting, and digital painting skills to process both 2D scanned assets and surface textures, following our photogrammetry pipeline and leveraging proprietary tools
  • Collaborating daily with the Team Lead and other artists to stay aligned on priorities, share feedback, and support the team wherever needed
  • Providing ongoing feedback on the performance and usability of internal tools to help the Pipeline Development Team continuously improve workflows
  • Participating in the creation of environmental art and small scenes in Unreal Engine using processed assets and raw scan data to evaluate asset usability and realism in context
  • Ensuring all assets meet our visual and technical quality standards, including proper scale, tiling, topology, and texture consistency
  • Reviewing assets produced by partners, performing QA checks, and delivering clear, constructive feedback to help ensure consistent quality across external contributions
  • Managing production deadlines and proactively communicating any blockers or concerns with the team
