ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Mobile HGV Trailer Technician to join our growing team. In this field-based role, you’ll carry out inspections, maintenance, and repairs on trailers and associated equipment (including tail lifts and moving decks), ensuring work is completed to high safety and quality standards.
You’ll be working independently across a varied patch in the Midlands, solving problems on the go with support from a friendly, experienced team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct on-site trailer inspections and MOT prep
• Perform repairs on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Complete fabrication or component modifications as needed
• Use diagnostic tools and interpret technical schematics
• Maintain accurate service records and compliance documentation
• Work independently or collaboratively to diagnose and resolve faults
