Description Position Summary The Mobile Lube Technician is responsible for performing preventive maintenance services on heavy equipment. Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities Performs preventative service and maintenance tasks, including but not limited to oil changes, checking fluid levels, replacing filters, etc., on company equipment as needed, with little or no direct supervision, at the Niece location or onsite with customers. Inspects the engine block and underbody for leaks and potential issues, and consults with mechanics to address vehicle issues Checking tire pressure to ensure tires are filled to manufacturer specifications Installing and/or replacing car parts, including but not limited to windshield wipers and batteries, as needed Prepares and completes all job-related documents, including but not limited to service reports and work orders, efficiently and timely Maintains service vehicle inspection records Adheres to all safety policies and company procedures, including but not limited to contamination control and HAZMAT rules and regulations Maintains all equipment, tools, and vehicles in good, clean working condition. Maintains an organized, clean, and safe work area Ensures adequate inventory for service needs, including notifying of inventory reordering needs in a timely manner Collaborates with the Service Manager and other internal team members to ensure efficient communications and services are consistently delivered to exceed customer expectations Other duties as assigned Requirements Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) Knowledge of automotive service needs and performing necessary service to vehicles, trailers, generators, etc. Ability to adhere to established safety policies and all required local, state, and federal laws and regulations Skill and ability to use automotive tools and equipment, scan tools, and computer systems Excellent customer service skills Strong communication, organizational, multitasking, and time management skills Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain precise standards Ability to work independently and as part of a team Education High School Diploma or equivalent required Experience 1-2 years of experience in an equivalent role preferred Additional Requirements Valid driver's license, related insurance, acceptable driving record Must pass a background investigation and pre-employment drug screen
