INTRODUCTION:

ConsMin produces some of the world’s highest grade manganese ore and is considered a world leader in manganese mining. Our ConsMin Australian operation (Woodie Woodie) is based in the WA Pilbara, 407kms south-east of Port Hedland. DESCRIPTION:

We are currently recruiting for a Mobile Maintenance experienced Auto Electrician at our Woodie Manganese Operations, situated 407kms south - east of Port Hedland in the Pilbara, working on a 2:2 FIFO roster from Perth.

Reporting to the Mobile Maintenance Supervisor, the successful applicant will be required to:

• Conduct maintenance activities to the mining and support vehicle fleet, consisting predominantly of Caterpillar and Komatsu equipment.
• Apply OEM maintenance practices, procedures, and information to required maintenance activities.
• Conducting workshop maintenance and maintaining high housekeeping standards in work areas.
• Diagnosing and repairing machines/equipment in both a workshop and field environment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical systems when required.

THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE ARE ESSENTIAL:

• Cert III Auto Electrician trade -Heavy (Australia recognised)
• Valid C Class drivers’ licence.
• National Police Clearance.
• Current Air Conditioning licence.
• Extensive product knowledge on CAT & Komatsu equipment.
• Experience in performing auto electrical and air condition repairs on mining equipment.
• Strong commitment to following health, safety and environment policies and procedures.
  Applicants must be able to pass a full pre-employment medical, provide a clean NPC (dated within the last 6 months (or able to obtain) and provide valid references.
