Adecco is currently hiring several full-time proactive and detail-oriented Heavy Mobile Mine Equipment Maintenance Planner to join our client’s dynamic team from either Elkford or Sparwood, BC. In this role you will be responsible for developing detailed work plans that align with maintenance strategies and operational requirements, with the goal of enhancing the efficiency, safety, and performance of the Maintenance Department. This role requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in Heavy Mobile or Mining equipment.

In this role, you’ll work alongside an experienced and diverse team, apply leading maintenance practices, and use state-of-the-art technologies to support our mining operations. You’ll also collaborate closely with cross-functional departments, expanding your expertise across multiple areas of the business.

  • Pay Rate: $55 - $60/ hour (based on experience)
  • Location: Elkford, BC or Sparwood, BC
  • Shift: Mon- Fri, 40 hours a week
  • Job type: Temporary | Full-time | 6-month contract

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be a residence of Elkford, BC area. Or Sparwood area
  • Journeyperson’s ticket, Degree, or Diploma in a related subject area, or a combination of relevant education and experience in mining or heavy industry
  • At least 2 years of experience in Heavy Industry mobile fleet Planners role
  • At least 2 years of experience in Heavy Mobile or Mining equipment is required.
  • Experience in a mobile maintenance environment or other relevant field
  • Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite®, especially Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License or equivalent
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills. You would be self-motivated and can collaborate well with a team.
  • The ability to multitask, prioritize contending demands and remain flexible and organized in a fast-paced environment is vital for success

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies
  • Manage work backlogs for accuracy, while considering requirements related to parts, labor, permits, drawings, facilities, support equipment, special equipment, tooling, and instructions
  • Maintain an accurate forecast that adheres to established maintenance strategies, while supporting best-in-class asset management strategies
  • Assist with monthly cost forecasting, annual budgeting, and cost analysis
  • Work regularly with maintainers to build or improve detailed work packages
  • Track and report Key Performance Indicators, bringing forward continuous improvement opportunities
  • Commission and decommission equipment, and manage their maintenance programs
