We are looking for a mechanic to service and maintain our fleet of forklifts, reach lifts and other equipment. This is a full-time position based in Vacaville, however, this position will travel where our equipment needs you (throughout Northern California). We have an excellent opportunity for a knowledgeable Mobile Mechanic to join our team! Job Responsibilities: - Travel to locations to perform on-site routine maintenance. - Communicate effectively, providing detailed breakdowns of service requirements and costs. - Mechanic tasks may entail oil changes, filter replacements, etc. - Maintain the company's equipment and van, keeping it in excellent working condition and cleanliness. - Adhere to all safety protocols and report any hazardous conditions to management. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: - Ability to perform physical tasks, like lifting heavy equipment or working in uncomfortable positions for extended periods. - A valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to travel independently. - The ability to explain complex mechanical issues in layman's terms. - A problem-solving mindset and keen attention to detail.
