We’re hiring a part-time or ful- time mobile mechanic to join our team! This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and reliable technician who enjoys the flexibility of working on-site at customer locations. You’ll be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicles, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a high standard of workmanship.

THE ROLE

As a mobile mechanic, you’ll be the face of our business, traveling to homes, offices, and roadside locations to provide vehicle servicing and repairs. The position offers 16 to 35 hours per week, with a flexible schedule that we can agree on. This is an ideal role for someone looking for a part-time position with the potential for more hours.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform vehicle inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs.
• Travel to various locations to perform work.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers about vehicle issues, repairs, and costs.
• Maintain accurate records of all work performed and parts used.
• Keep the company vehicle and equipment in excellent working condition.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and industry standards.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: Proven experience as a mechanic, with a preference for a mobile service background.
• Qualifications: City & Guilds Level 2/3 or NVQ Level 2/3 (or equivalent) is highly desirable.
• Skills: Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to work independently.
• Licence: A valid UK driving licence with a clean driving record is essential.
• Traits: Adaptable, flexible, and reliable with a keen attention to detail.
