We’re seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mobile Multi Skilled Engineer to join our team in London. As a key member of our team, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clients’ facilities and equipment.

JOB SUMMARY:

We’re looking for a talented and versatile Mobile Multi Skilled Engineer to perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on a wide range of plant, equipment, and building services. If you have a strong background in manufacturing maintenance, electrical and mechanical competences, and a passion for problem-solving, we want to hear from you!

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Recognised or time-served apprenticeship in electrical or mechanical engineering
  • Strong proven experience in manufacturing maintenance experience
  • Electrical competences to a minimum of City and Guilds 236 Pt 1-2 Electrical qualifications to 17th Edition
  • Mechanical competences to an acceptable standard to City and Guild’s Mechanical
  • Good multi-skilled ability, with experience working on 3-phase motors, drives, and inverters
  • Hydraulic and pneumatic experience
  • Ability to fault-find and diagnose PLC systems
  • NVQ qualifications to Level 2, Electrical and Mechanical
  • Ability to supervise contractors and write risk and method statements

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify and manage risks associated with equipment on site, including updating drawings, identifying critical spares, and improving equipment performance
  • Conduct fault-finding on all types of machinery, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
  • Provide electrical and mechanical expertise to the maintenance department, working on heavy industrial machines and overhead cranes
  • Write and follow risk assessments and method statements, ensuring a safe and accurate working environment
  • Use mobile devices to accurately project and complete works from the CAFM maintenance system
  • Liaise with onsite site services to manage building services-related issues
  • Deputise for the shift leader during annual leave or sickness
  • Work overtime as required, including nights and weekends
